ROBERT (WAWRZYNIAK) “BOB” LAWRENCE, 86, passed away Monday January 30, 2017 at the Providence Retirement Home. He was born in South Bend, IN. and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a 1953 Graduate of Purdue University and received his Master’s Degree from Purdue in 1959. Bob was an Engineer and a Manufacturer’s Representative. Richard Lee Cargill, 85, of New Albany, Indiana passed away Wednesday evening at Baptist Health Floyd. Richard was a retired plant manager for Boise Cascade/Sunoco. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Richard was a very active member of Graceland Baptist Church where he was involved with Repair Affair and Carpenters Helpers. He was also a member of the American Legion and a volunteer school bus driver for Christian Academy Schools.

Albert F. Schmitt, 51, passed away Sunday at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany. He was born in New Albany. Survivors include his brothers Andrew and Dwight Schmitt, his and his sister Cindy Martin. He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Schmitt and his brothers Anthony and Bret Schmitt.
