LILLIAN FAY TAYLOR, 96, passed away Friday June 23, 2017 at the Providence Retirement Home. She was an avid euchre and bunco player, a volunteer for the Center for Lay Ministries Pantry and she was a member of the Charlestown Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Lawrence Very, her second husband: Benson Taylor and her great grandson: Spencer Martin.
Fay’s life centered around her family which included:

Cindy M. Teives, 58, of New Albany, Indiana passed away in Florida while visiting her mother. Cindy was born in Louisville, Kentucky but was a lifelong resident of New Albany, Indiana. She was formerly employed at Mutual Trust Bank, New Albany; New Albany Schools Credit Union and her last employment was at Ford Motor Company KTP. Cindy was a country girl at heart. She enjoyed hunting and fishing but mostly loved working in her garden in Birdseye. She was a loving wife and mother to:

ERIC W. SMITH, age 51, passed away on June 14, 2017 at his home. Eric believed that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. His soul is in heaven with Jesus in a new body!
Eric graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1984, worked primarily in auto parts and as a licensed practical nurse. He enjoyed many things but he especially enjoyed attending meetings of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and flying a Cessna 180 with his dad along the full extent of the Trail.

Ruth J. Rupright, 89, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in New Albany to the late Warren and Jewell (Wiegleb) Miller. She was a homemaker and member of First Church of God in New Albany.
Survivors include: her sons Duane Johantgen and Tommy Johantgen (Dee), brothers Richard and Stanley Miller, sister Jewell Ann Farmer, grandchildren Misty Newton, Joshua Adam Johantgen and Emily Eden, great-grandchildren, Trent Kramer and Colton Thomas Johantgen.
