Susan E. Grose, 84, of New Albany, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2017. She was the former Susan E. Stork. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Joseph Rauch Rehab and Providence Daycare. She was a former member of PSI-IOTA-XI Sorority and former N.A.C.C. The family would like to send a special thank you to Autumn Woods Health Care for the great care given to Susan.

Ronald K. “Ron” Cates, 72, of Georgetown, Indiana died Tuesday afternoon at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Garrett and Martha Louise (Stoner) Cates. Mr. Cates was a 1963 Graduate of Georgetown High School and was a member of Heartland Church of the Nazarene in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. He was employed at Jeff Boat for over 20 years as a draftsman and went on to work for Thomas Lighting (Gynlight) until his retirement.

She was a life-long educator, teaching at East Washington Schools, JCPS, home, and New Albany-Floyd County Schools. Robin was devoted to Christ, serving at First Church of God in New Albany and Atwood Wesleyan Church in Louisville, KY.
