IRMA G. WARD, age 80, passed away Sunday at Baptist Health Floyd, New Albany, Indiana.
She was a native of New Albany, Indiana and was the widow of Robert B. Ward.
She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary , Bonnie Sloan Post #28 American Legion having held many offices in the Unit, District, and Department Levels.
She is survived by a son: Raymond Burke Ward – Jeffersonville, IN.
3 daughters – Jennifer L. Ward – Jeffersonville, IN.
Kimberly K. Gibson (Roger) – New Albany, IN.
Rhonda L. Schneider (Joe) – Shepherdsville,KY
4 brothers – Robert V. Coombs – New Albany, IN
Leland E. “Pepper” Coombs – Clarksville, IN
John L. “Tinker” Coombs – Clarksville, IN
Bernard M. “Beanie” Coombs – Clarksville, IN
1 sister – Karen Jill Ferry – Clarksville, IN
8 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Gordon L. “Butch” Coombs, a sister Patty Ann Renfrow and her parents, Elmer and Julie Coombs.
Visitation: Noon – 8 PM Friday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, 1119 East Market Street, New Albany, Indiana..
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes.
Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana
