Robin Walker Smith, 67 of Clarksville, Indiana, formerly of Jeffersonville, Indiana died Sunday at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville. He was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Ketchell and Minna (Solari) Smith. He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed listening to several bands including Jimi Hendrix and Michael Jackson who were among his favorites. He also loved his coffee and White Castles which he consumed on a regular basis. He liked taking to people and would often reflect on his childhood days in Gary and was honest in his opinions and converstations.

He has no surviving family but was very loved by his caretakers at Wedgewood Healthcare and Volunteers of America who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stephen Kampinski who cared for him until his death in 2014.

Visitation is from 10 AM – 1 PM Monday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, 1846 E. Oak St., New Albany, IN.

His funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday in the Oak Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Edwardsville Cemetery.
