Harry David Heideman M.D.

August 21, 1937 ~ April 6, 2018 (age 80)

Harry David Heideman, M.D. passed away Friday, April 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 21, 1937 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to the late Harry William Heideman and Blanche Smith Heideman. David was a radiologist with Radiology Associates and practiced for 45 yrs. , retiring in 2002. He graduated from U of L Medical School, residency at U of K.  Dr.H as he was called, practiced in Southern Indiana in four counties where he retired with emeritus status. He served in Vietnam in the early 1960's as a Captain- First Air Cav.  David attended Northside Christian Church and loved greeting at the Children's Door. He was a life-long member of the AMA, ISMA and Radiology Association of Louisville. 

Remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ruth Wilthers Heideman,

 His children: William Heideman (Joy),  Susan Stodgill (Parker), Deborah Loyd ( Jan) and Tamera Loyd,  Grandchildren: Cassie Carpenter, Benjamin Carpenter and Blake Johnson and his sister: Mildred Craft.

His Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday April 12, 2018 at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home(1119 E. Market St., New Albany) with private burial later.  Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11th at the funeral home.
